Example tariffs and emission factors are typical published magnitudes, rounded for illustration. For an accurate bill, type the rates printed on your own bill (including slab or peak prices).

Rating = nameplate input power (W, kW or HP). HP is converted at 745.7 W, which is shaft output, so a motor's electrical input is higher (divide by efficiency). Duty % accounts for thermostats and compressors that cycle; leave 100 % for lights, fans and TVs.
Maximum demand uses the "largest load + demand factor on the rest" screening method. Service and feeder sizing must follow your local wiring code (for example NFPA 70 Article 220, IEC 60364, BS 7671 or your utility's rules).

Preliminary engineering estimate for budgeting, energy awareness and early load screening. It is not a utility bill, a code-compliant service load calculation or a final protection design. Breaker, cable, earthing and inverter selection must be verified by a qualified electrician or engineer against the applicable wiring code, the equipment manufacturer's data and the prospective fault level.
